Newport Avenue at duskNewport Avenue intersection

San Diego’s Newport Avenue is the heart of Ocean Beach. A street that appears to still have that 1960’s vibe combines in a few blocks a perfect balance of eating, shopping and drinking that has made many beach towns popular. Only Newport Avenue’s palm lined street is better than almost any other beach street you could find in California and is truly unlike anywhere else in the United States.

Note: parking on Newport Avenue, Ocean Beach is often available, though parking on side streets is often necessary during peak times.
